EmerGeo™ was built by emergency management professionals with over 30 years of hands-on experience in applying GIS mapping technologies for emergency planning and response. EmerGeo™ is a GIS mapping application that “sits between” existing GIS system(s) and the WebEOC® server or it resides on its own as a standalone application that can be used at the EOC or in the field through the smart client which can synchronize with the central EmerGeo server. Map overlays (layers) are read directly from such as generating a report on population or critical infrastructure affected within an emergency planning zone around plotted events or even generate hazmat plume/flood forecasts and issue an alert.

WebEOC® is the original web-enabled crisis information management system and provides secure real-time information sharing to help managers make sound decisions quickly. Originally developed for public safety and emergency management officials, WebEOC® is now also used for routine operations in private corporations, public utilities, domestic and international airlines, healthcare associations, and universities, as well as by government at every level. Although WebEOC® includes a suite of default status boards and forms ready for immediate use, agencies have the ability to locally create or customize an unlimited number of status boards using WebEOC’s® Board Wizard or an HTML editor such as MS FrontPage or Adobe Dreamweaver.
